Sincere thanks to our staff and supporters for sticking with us in these unprecedented times. Many of us have been impacted negatively either with a change in work situation, or on a personal level, and we are so grateful that you are continuing to support our charity throughout the pandemic. Thankfully Stray Aid has continued to meet our objectives and provide a valuable service to our four council areas. Life has been extremely difficult for us at times. Our charity shops and our rehoming centre have borne the brunt of the restrictions, with limited contact with the public, which has not only meant no face to face fundraising and a reduction in sales throughout our charity shops, but also rehoming opportunities have been reduced as we believe that families spending time meeting dogs before rehoming is a vital part of the rehoming process, and for most of 2020, such gatherings have not been permitted.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support, and ask you to please continue to encourage your friends and family to join Team SAFE, to ensure that Stray Aid will survive into 2021 and beyond. Happy New Year!
