In 2019, our charity shops and community fundraisers generated nearly £100,000 to support the lost, abandoned and unwanted pets in our care, from across the North East of England.
Support Our Shops
There are many ways companies, local community groups, schools, colleges, universities and individuals can help support our shops. From donating end of line stock, holding a collection event at work or community group, sorting out at home, and promoting our charity to your customers, colleagues, friends and neighbours. Our network of local charity shops are a great place to find your next bargain. And what’s more, our eBay Charity Shop offers UK-wide delivery, as well as Click & Collect options.
All of our charity shops are following the latest government guidelines, with limits on the number of people allowed in at any one time. We ask you please read the signage in the windows before entering and follow the instructions of our volunteers – this will help to ensure your experience is as safe and enjoyable as possible. Donations can be safely left at the rear entrances of our shops.
Our shops are run by volunteers. Generally, they are open 10.30am – 3.00pm, and they are usually closed every Wednesday and Sunday. Where volunteer availability means these hours aren’t possible, each shop displays their individual opening hours in their store-front window. Find out more about volunteering in our charity shops.
For details of what we can and can’t accept at our charity shops, please see our Charity Shops Info’ Sheet.
Don’t worry if you can’t make it to one of our charity shops, you can also buy some of our fantastic pre-loved goods through our eBay Charity Shop.
If you have any questions about donations or visiting one of our shops, please feel free to get in touch.
