Last year Stray Aid was incredibly grateful to be awarded a £10,000 grant by the Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust.
The Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust was set up in 1982, by Mrs Jean Beryl Lilian Sainsbury, and is a registered charity (No. 326358). Since then, the Trust has given just over £10.9 million to animal welfare charities. In 2021 JSAWT donated a total of £441,200 which was distributed across charities they support, including the £10,000 grant to us here at Stray Aid.
This generous grant has helped cover 1/3 of our veterinary costs for our dogs and cats over the past five months. This included: 105 neuterings, 227 vaccinations, 248 flea and worm treatments, 45 microchips implanted, 98 dental treatments, and 104 nail clips, as well as 96 other producers, such as removing potentially harmful lumps and bumps.
It is only with the help of generous supporters such as the Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust and people like you that we are able to offer such veterinary treatments to the dogs and cats in our care.
Thank you, Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust!
