Hello… I’m not the kind of dog who’ll run up to you straight away – but if you move gently and speak softly, you might just see a little spark of hope in my eyes.

I’m an extremely timid and shy soul, and it’s clear that I haven’t seen much of the world yet. Everything is still very new to me – the sights, the sounds, even just being around people. Kennel life feels really overwhelming at times, but I’m doing my best and taking tiny steps forward each day.

Sudden movements, loud noises, or unexpected things can make me very nervous, so I’m hoping to find a calm, quiet home where I can just be – without any pressure. I need someone special: someone who understands that trust takes time, and that I may need to watch the world from a safe distance before I feel brave enough to join in.

Because of this, I’m looking for an adult-only home with no children, and no loud or unpredictable environments. I might be able to live with another gentle, quiet dog – as long as they’re not too bouncy or excitable. The right canine companion could even help show me that the world isn’t so scary after all.

With lots of patience, kindness, and a safe space to settle, I will open up – in my own time. If you’re someone who finds joy in earning the trust of a nervous dog, and you’re ready to take things slow, then I’d love the chance to meet you.

Because I can be so unsure of new people and surroundings, I will need to meet you a few times before heading off to my forever home – just to make sure I feel comfortable and safe with you.
